A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by the international technology groups, MAN Energy Solutions and KONGSBERG. This MoU is about the collaboration to develop an infrastructure for a common data for the world maritime sector.
This collaboration will lead to widening of the value offering to vessel operators, improvement in the returns on investments in the digital solutions and an increase in the adaptation of secure connectivity.
According to the MoU, the MAN Energy Solutions will investigate the chances of making of use of the digital infrastructure solutions, Vessel Insight of the Kongsberg in order to collect and transmit data safely by using the digital platform of MAN Energy, MAN CEON.
After a successful trial that MAN Energy Solutions will be able to use its advanced services such as PrimeServ Assist, its remote monitoring and optimization package, to better serve customers.
