CMA CGA is to launch is its new product Guinea Gulf Express (GGX) which will complement its current 6 weekly services. This is step taken to further improve their services on the trade in Europe and Mediterranean to West Africa strategic markets.
The second service from Gibraltar hubs, the new Guinea Gulf Express will link European Med and North America to Tema, Ghana, Nigeria Lagos port and Conakry, Guinea. This will become the go to option for the customers by providing the best transit time in the market.
There is a great improvement in the transit time like about 12 days to Tema, 10 days to Tin Can Lagos and 2 days to Conakry. From Antwerp, Temo is reached in 19 days, Tin Can Lagos in 22 days and 14 days in Conakry. While in Med, the transit time to Tema will be 18 days for Genoa, 21 days to Nigeria and 13 days to Conakry. From Houston, USA to Tema in 36 days, Tin Can in 39 days and Conakry in 31 days.
